Free Computer Classes
The NSCC is happy to support this weekly social computer club for all ages. Bring your own device or borrow one of the centres laptops (limited supply, please book in advance). Our volunteers will assist where possible with any device issues in a casual, fun and social environment. Computer savvy volunteers are always welcome!

Mylestone's Coffee Cart
Mylestone’s is part of CPL – Choice, Passion, Life – Queensland’s largest non-profit disability support provider. It provides a full range of employment solutions for people with disabilities and barriers through the Australian Disability Enterprise, Disability Social Enterprise and Disability Employment Service. Our mobile coffee carts provide an opportunity for our trainees to undertake a traineeship in a certificate I in business and barista training. The cart will be in operation at NSCC on Tuesday & Wednesday mornings.

Be Connected Digital Mentoring
“Be Connected” is an Australia wide initiative empowering all Australians to thrive in a digital world. We offer FREE one on one digital mentoring and support from our centre so you can develop your digital skills and build confidence at your own pace. Learn the basics of your device or borrow one of our laptops and explore how to be better connected online to your family, friends and the world around you.

Health My Way
Supporting people to learn essential digital health literacy skills is critical to ensuring people of all ages have the ability to make informed, confident choices when it comes to supporting their health and wellbeing online. We are now offering FREE digital health literacy mentoring from our centre to meet this need for our local residents. The program will target (but is not limited to) seniors, carers and parents.

Bethany Group
* Have some time to spare?

Women & Men of all ages are invited to become a part of the Bethany Group that put together gift boxes for children aged between 2 & 14 years. Work from home at your own pace, then bring items once a month, on last Friday of month 9:30 – 11:30am.
Meet for a cuppa, swapping ideas and socialising.

Sunshine Coast Singing Academy
Learn diaphragmatic breathing, vocal techniques (placement, projection, diction), physical expression, interpretation, characterisation, improvisa-tion (singing & acting) and much more.

Rainbow Families Queensland
This playgroup is a space for LGBTQIAP parents and their kids to get together, chat, have a cuppa, and have some fun! The mission of Rainbow Families Sunshine Coast (Qld) is to nurture a community which fosters resiliency by connecting, supporting, and empowering LGBTQIAP families.

Sunshine Coast Writers' Group
The Sunshine Coast Writers’ Group was established in the 1970’s to nurture and encourage writers. Yearly membership is $26 plus $4 per workshop to cover expenses.
Members are encouraged to write original prose and poetry to the best of their ability and in their chosen field. When work is read during the workshops, members are offered helpful comments and advice. New members are most welcome.

Za'Flow
Veraflow is a dance-based, stretch class with mindfulness. Dance, stretch and find your true flow in this class like none other you have experienced.
Zumba Gold: Low intensity, easy and effective workout class designed for the active, older adult, male or female. It focuses on all elements of fitness: cardio, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance.
Inner U
Inner U is all about connecting with who you really are, listening to your inner voice and desires away from the noise of the modern day.
Our programs are lovingly designed specifically for different age groups and use components from Art Therapy and Meditation. They include a theme and focus for each session, and incorporate something for the mind, body and spirit.
Inner U runs Move.Meditate.Make wellbeing classes for children at NSCC on Mondays.

North Shore Play Group
Join our group for a fun and relaxed mid–morning session of planned activities and free play, within the Centre’s relaxed, air-conditioned space, with its secure adjoining playground area. All parents, grandparents and carers are welcome to join this new group for just $2 per person per visit. Morning tea is provided and coffee is available for purchase.
