The NSCC supports various organisations & groups to run support classes & groups free of charge from our centre.
North Shore Playgroup: Join our qualified Early Years Educator for a fun and relaxed mid–morning session of planned activities and free play, within the Centre’s relaxed, air-conditioned space, with its secure adjoining playground area. All parents, grandparents and carers are welcome to join this new group for just $2 per person per visit. Morning tea is provided and coffee is available for purchase.
Be Connected Digital Mentoring: “Be Connected” is an Australia wide initiative empowering all Australians to thrive in a digital world. We offer FREE one on one digital mentoring and support from our centre so you can develop your digital skills and build confidence at your own pace. Learn the basics of your device or borrow one of our laptops and explore how to be better connected online to your family, friends and the world around you.
Health My Way Program: Supporting people to learn essential digital health literacy skills is critical to ensuring people of all ages have the ability to make informed, confident choices when it comes to supporting their health and wellbeing online. We are now offering FREE digital health literacy mentoring from our centre to meet this need for our local residents. The program will target (but is not limited to) seniors, carers and parents.

A Hearing Loop is installed in the Mount Coolum Room. The hearing loop (sometimes called an audio induction loop) is a special type of sound system for use by people with hearing aids. The hearing loop provides a magnetic, wireless signal that is picked up by the hearing aid when it is set to ‘T’ (Telecoil) setting.
